Mr. Grant was a degreed Chemical Engineer who spent his career working for prominent engineering and construction companies building hydrocarbon processing facilities in the oil, gas and refining industries around the world. His corporate roles included Process Design Engineer; Project Manager/Director; Business Development Manager and Process Department and Engineering Department Managers.

He and his wife have lived in numerous states in the USA and also six foreign countries during his work assignments, as well as having have been in 50 different countries. They both thoroughly enjoyed learning about the different cultures and parts of the world and also enjoyed some great travel experiences while on these assignments. Most of all, they have had some truly exciting experiences as members of various churches during their travels in foreign lands.

He became a believing Christian in his 30’s, he has enjoyed teaching children’s Sunday School for over 20 years as well as various adult classes throughout the years.

He is now happily retired, spending some time in the gym six days a week, volunteering at a Christian non-profit organization twice a week, playing golf once a week, working around the house and enjoying time with his daughter-in-law, son and granddaughter who live locally.

He now resides in Sugar Land, Texas with his wife of 52 years.
